Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) and RL Commercial REIT, Inc. (RCR) have secured three major wins for the Robinsons Malls portfolio at the Retail Asia Awards 2026. 

Organized by Charlton Media Group, a regional business media and events company, the Retail Asia Awards honor outstanding achievements and transformative contributions across the Asia-Pacific retail sector. The awards were held on June 3, 2026, at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore. 

This year, Robinsons Malls was recognized for excellence in sustainability, new market expansion, and regional retail performance. It received Eco-Friendly Mall of the Year-Philippines for Robinsons Magnolia; New Mall of the Year-Philippines for Robinsons Pagadian; and Regional Mall of the Year-Philippines for Robinsons Malolos. Robinsons Magnolia is part of the portfolio of RCR, Robinsons Land’s publicly listed real estate investment trust. 

The 2026 wins add to Robinsons Malls’ strong track record at the regional awards program, following last year’s wins for Opus Mall as New Mall of the Year-Philippines and Robinsons Antipolo as Regional Mall of the Year-Philippines. 

Celebrating Filipino excellence on the international stage, Robinsons Malls won three prestigious awards at the Retail Asia Awards 2026.

The mall group operates a nationwide network of 57 malls across key urban centers and high-growth provincial markets. Robinsons Malls continues to see significant opportunities outside Metro Manila, where a substantial portion of its footprint is located. Developments such as Robinsons Pagadian and Robinsons Malolos illustrate the company's strategy of entering high-growth provincial markets and creating integrated retail destinations that attract investments, generate employment, and support local enterprise development. 

 Robinsons Malls now spans approximately 1.7 million square meters of leasable space, reflecting the scale of its retail platform across both established and developing markets. 

Robinsons Malls’ award-winning properties showcase diversity and excellence of the brand’s nationwide portfolio. 

Since opening in April 2025, Robinsons Pagadian recorded a strong inaugural performance, welcoming approximately 160,000 visitors on its first day and achieving near-full tenant occupancy, demonstrating sustained demand for well-located community malls and the company’s ability to attract strong tenant support. 

In Central Luzon, Robinsons Malolos serves as a key retail and mobility hub, hosting major regional events such as the Singkaban Festival opening and supporting local employment through quarterly job fairs that connect up to 800 job seekers per cycle with employers. 

Meanwhile, Robinsons Magnolia reflects the group's continued focus on operational excellence and sustainability integration. The mall expansion operates on 100% renewable energy through a dedicated power supply agreement, supported by passive design features such as skylights and clerestory windows that reduce energy consumption while enhancing natural lighting. Its Green Residuals Waste Management program, including Renew-a-Bottle machines, collects over 400 PET bottles monthly, complemented by EV charging stations and bicycle facilities that promote low-carbon mobility. 

These efforts form part of Robinsons Malls’ broader push to advance energy efficiency, waste reduction, and resource optimization across its retail developments.
