Azela by Balay Dako is NOW OPEN at Robinsons Manila
Tagaytay's famous Balay Dako is NOW OPEN at Robinsons Manila, its FIRST MALL BRANCH. Another first for Antonio's Group of Restaurants, following the popularity of their well-loved Breakfast at Antonio's at Robinsons Malls.

A beloved name from the cool highlands of Tagaytay has found a new home in the metro. Azela by Balay Dako, the newest concept from The Antonio’s Group of Restaurants, has officially opened its doors at Robinsons Manila, bringing soulful Filipino and Ilonggo flavors to the capital and marking its first ever branch in Metro Manila. The opening of the beloved Filipino restaurant, an established crowd favorite for almost a decade, brings the comforting flavor and heartfelt hospitality that feels like home.
Known for its comforting, home-style dishes rooted in tradition and elevated with finesse, Azela by Balay Dako offers a warm, familiar dining experience—one that feels like coming home. Located at Level 1, Center Atrium, the restaurant welcomes guests daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
“Bringing the heart of Balay Dako to Metro Manila is something we’ve long envisioned,” shares the Escalante family, who helm The Antonio’s Group. “Azela isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a place where stories are shared, memories are made, and heritage is passed on through flavors that raised us.”
Guests can indulge in a curated menu of hero dishes, including Tagaytay’s iconic Bulalo na Baka, Ilonggo classics like Kansi and Fried Inasal, and beloved Filipino staples such as Kare-Kare Klasik, Crispy Pancit Luglug, and Pinakbet Rice. Every dish is prepared with care and intention, designed to bring people together around the table.
The ambiance is casual yet nostalgic—evoking the cozy charm of a Filipino family gathering, perfect for everyday meals, weekend reunions, or quick comfort food cravings after shopping.
“Food has always been more than just sustenance,” the Escalantes add. “It’s how we connect, how we remember, and how we celebrate. At Azela, we bring these connections to life with every meal.”
And there’s more in store. Soon, patrons can also look forward to the arrival of Breakfast at Antonio’s and Pedro the Grocer at Robinsons Manila—rounding out a truly exceptional culinary experience under one roof.
