Javier, Acting Assistant Postmaster General for Operations, PHLPost; Rey Ong, President of the Philippine Philatelic Federation Inc.; Irving Wu, External Affairs Director, Robinsons Land Corporation; Cristina Manalo, Regional Operations Manager, Robinsons Malls; and Joseph James Sabio, Special Projects Assistant Manager, Robinsons Malls.
The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost), in partnership with Robinsons Malls, ushered in the Lunar New Year with hope, strength, and renewed optimism through the official launch of its “Year of the Horse” special postage stamps and souvenir sheet at Robinsons Manila.
Celebrating the dynamic spirit of the Horse in the Chinese zodiac, the commemorative stamp design blends cherished Lunar New Year traditions with contemporary Filipino artistry. Designed by PHLPost graphic artist Jose Antonio A. Jayme, the stamp captures movement and vitality — symbolizing courage, progress, and the promise of new beginnings.
In Chinese astrology, the Year of the Horse signifies strength, freedom, endurance, and optimism. Individuals born under this zodiac sign are believed to be energetic, intelligent, and determined. The year 2026 is seen as a time of bold action and forward momentum, an auspicious period for pursuing ambitions, nurturing relationships, and embracing meaningful change. It inspires both individuals and communities to stride confidently toward growth and prosperity.

PHLPost ushers in the Year of the Horse with symbolism, art, and tradition through their new postage stamp designs.
As part of the celebration, PHLPost mounted a special stamp exhibition in Robinsons Manila, in partnership with the Philippine Philatelic Federation, Inc., showcasing the enduring art of philately and the rich cultural narratives carried by stamps across generations. The exhibition underscores how stamps serve not only as functional postage but also as enduring symbols of heritage, tradition, and shared aspirations.
Held in partnership with Robinsons Malls, the launch highlights the mall’s continued commitment to providing accessible government services through its Lingkod Pinoy Center, a one-stop hub that brings essential public services closer to communities.
The “Year of the Horse” special stamps and souvenir sheets are now available at Robinsons Manila and at the Manila Central Post Office.
